GROUPS

THERE’S A GROUP FOR YOU

As a church, one of our values is leaving isolation for community. That means we are committed to setting aside time each week to gather together with other believers to build relationships and grow closer to God.

Life Groups

Men and Women can meet together to join these sermon-based small groups that gather together to live out the mission of the church.

Compass Men

These groups meet weekly to discuss the Bible as we strive to be the leaders, fathers and husbands God has called us to be.

Compass Women

Women’s ministry meets to study the Bible, pray and encourage each other to become the uniquely courageous and bold women God has called us to be.

Support Groups

Men and women meet to discuss specific situations, bringing together people who are going through similar hardships to love each other well.

Why should I join a group?

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A GROUP

01. WHO

02. WHEN

Life Groups are 6-16 people who meet regularly and encourage each other, pray for one another, and apply scripture together. Life Groups are open to anyone who can commit to attending the group. You don’t need to know a ton about the Bible ahead of time - the point is to grow together!

Life Groups run in three, 8 to 11 week-long sessions: one in the Fall, one in the Winter, and one in the Spring. We offer group sign-ups at the beginning of each session.

03. WHERE

Groups meet in homes, coffee shops or on campus. Typically Life Groups begin with a time of socializing with a meal or snack. Then there is time to read scripture together, discuss last Sunday’s message and aim to see how both apply to our lives.

04. SHARE

Groups are an opportunity to walk through life with others. You’ll be encouraged to share how you’re being challenged in your relationship with God or to be open about questions you are wrestling with. Each group ends with time to pray with and for one another.
