COMPASS STUDENTS
EXPERIENCING GOD, TOGETHER.
At Compass, our approach to student ministries is simple. We believe that students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. That’s why we make a relationship-building a big part of everything we do. Each week we meet for Midweek services on Wednesday’s nights, and we meet for student Connection Groups on Sunday’s.
All of our events are designed to help students grow in their love and understanding of God, all while developing relationships with other students and leaders that will help them keep moving forward throughout the difficult teenage years. Most students find our student ministries to be fun, engaging, high-energy, and welcoming for everybody.
COMPASS STUDENTS MIDWEEKS
Grades 6-12
Compass Students midweeks happen every Wednesday night from 6:30PM – 8:30PM. Most of the night is combined with our middle school and high school groups, but the students are divided up for the teaching so that it is more age-specific. Each grade level then separates for time to discuss the message and to grow with each other. Midweeks have a high-energy and fun atmosphere so they are great for a student’s first visit.
GROWING DEEP
Grades 6-12
Growing Deep is our Sunday morning experience for students from 6th-12th grade. It is also the weekly experience where we focus on teaching students basic Theology, Christology, and how to read the Bible. We do this in ways that connect with students and make it fun! This experience will feel informal, fun, and engaging. But make no mistake, students are learning a lot about Jesus, scripture, and faith! Also, we always provide free DONUTS!
HIGH SCHOOL LIFE GROUPS
Grades 9-12
High school life groups meet every Sunday Night from 6:30PM – 8:00PM in the student room. A conversation based on a relevant topic is had with the entire large group, and then is broken out for more intimate conversations. Groups are divided by gender and grade and they are led by adult volunteers that have been trained and vetted.
