We are thrilled you are looking for more information about how to serve on Compass’ Host Team. Watching this introductory video will answer some of your initial questions and get you started on the path to serving.

Host Team Training

Once you decide you want to join a team, we have resources to help you assimilate.

Below you will find video and packet resources for each area of our host team. Please download the training packet for each position and have it available to go through while you are watching the training video.

Welcomer Team

Welcomers help create a comfortable space for new guests, and welcome them into Compass.

Greeter Team

Greeters are the first and possibly only smiling faces many will see all week, as a greeter you will greet everyone who walks through our doors.

Connection Point Team

Connection Point is the place people go for information and questions.

Usher Team

Ushers help create a comfortable space for everyone who enters the sanctuary. Download the packet and watch the video to learn more about the usher team.

Let’s get you on the schedule!

We use a program called Planning Center Services to schedule our volunteers and communicate within our volunteer groups. Learning how to use PCS is essential to joining the host team. The article below goes over what PCS is, how to use it, and some tips and tricks.

All done? What now?

After you have finished your training and you're all set up on planning center services, please complete this form so that we can officially get you on schedule!
