A 40-DAY JOURNEY
Every year at Compass, we provide a completely free devotional that orients our hearts as we prepare for Easter. This year we have named this devotional I AM. I AM. Always has been. Always will be.
That’s all He had to say — just two words. I AM. With those words, the religious leaders picked up rocks to stone Him as Jesus claimed to be God. Those two words were used as Moses saw a burning bush in Exodus 3. Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.”
I AM. Those two words will change your life. Jesus used those two words to clarify who He was and who He is. Jesus used those two words to define His role and His relationship with us. Who you believe Jesus is, is the most important decision you will make in your life. This is a decision that we make daily in our lives that should transform the way we live.
Where can I get a physical copy?
The physical books of I AM will be available at Compass during our Sunday services on February 15 and 22! Books will also be available throughout the week at men's and women's groups, or you can stop by the office Monday through Friday to pick up your copy!
